Our walk in shower a small piece of a plastic looking thing came off and we want to fix it. Not sure what to buy. See the photo. Is it a clear calking?

How do we fix this?

Your looking for door sweep-

Measure the thickness of the glass- that's the size you're looking for- it's cut to fit.

Looks like a section of silicone or vinyl U channel broke off. Short of a complete re-set, you may be able to use clear silicone caulk to hold it in place. Do you know the contractor who did the work? That would be the first place to check for a long term solution.

Looks like a glass edging. You can buy a edge seal for the glass or even use a generic shower door sweep or drip edging that is trimmed to remove the drip edge. You can buy edge seals at most hardware stores, Home Depot, Loews and even off amazon. They are the basic "U" shape channels designed for this.

The problems I see is you have a solid single glass panel but only a small corner piece needs replacing. These seals come in single strips that covers the edge of the entire glass in a single run with no seams. You will have to have the entire glass panel removed, a new bottom edge install and re-sat into the channel. Even if you spring for those special edge pieces, they still will require the entire glass panel to be lifted out so a new corner could be used.

Or, just clean the piece you have and glob a heaping pile of silicone into the gap and push the piece back in.

Well, that makes a more definitive picture.

You need "glazing vinyl"

CRL Window Glazing Vinyl and Spline

That hole is a weep hole so water drains out of there. I would find a local window show and take the piece and the pictures and they can replace it. It isn't too important either way so if you want you can silicone it back in and you should be fine.

Is the window glas inside? I think you need this:
CRL Flexible Vinyl for DUC38 U-Channel
But to repair, any clear weatherproof caulk will work.
