Wanted to know on average the cost to have a 60's house made "cable ready" ( wired inside the walls) I have a 1500 sq ft 3 level split and have 5 TV's with 3 in the upstairs bedrooms, 1 on main floor living room, and 1 in the lower level family room. Right now I have Directv who ran their cables all over the interior of the house. It looks terrible. Spectrum won't let us switch to them till the house is cable ready. I live in Ohio if that helps on how much I might pay.
And saying you have a split-level house doesn't really help. You best bet is to call a few electricians that do "low voltage"- or they will direct you to someone who does- get bids/quotes. Then make an educated decision based on the information before you.
