Well, that got me to thinking,...and it isn't pretty. Not including temporary places, like working somewhere for a month or two, but including military assignments where I was located for a year or more, that would total....are you ready for it.....15
17 that I can remember offhand, plus a couple short-term. Non-military, just following work. That is less concerning to me than the fact that almost all of the places I have worked or supervised (easily double that number) have been razed over time. A few have been converted into churches. It does remind one of the impermanence of life and even community.
Houses/apartments-17. Motels/dorms-7 Nursery-12th grade-11 schools. 6 colleges (granted some of those was just taking one or two classes.) Lived in 8 states, 9 if you count Greece, 10 if you count the State of Confusion.
3 different houses, 5 different dorms, 4 different tents, yes tents(worked at camps during the summer in college, and old canvas tents was the housing)
