Default how do you feel about cleaning?

i ask for two reasons:

1) is there anything to get out chapstick stains?

2) i'm completely lazy and have a heap of clothes on the floor. and this lets e avoid doing it. man, i hate cleaning. haha.

3) i'm working on a project for graduate school about cleaning. i have a quick survey. and i need some insights from people about how they feel about cleaning.

it's at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=979683012274

also. just post your thoughts about cleaning. just in general. i whine about doing it all the time. to the point that my friends want me to shut up.

I like cleaning, but I don't do the oven like I should, I don't wash the outsides of windows, I put off laundry, but love dishes, and I really feel in disarray and less happy at home when I let cleaning slide, like it is on my to-do's and I feel bad if it is not done. Chap stick out of what? Carpet... try a low heat iron over papertowels over the stain, clothes use super hot water and shout or oxyclean. I got purple chapstick out of beige linen with shout, but the oil left its mark even when the color came out, use a brush. Go to a laundrymat and knock out ten loads at a time while you study!

I just took your survey... I'm not much of a housekeeper, so you'll get some interesting responses from me.

For washing the outside side of windows, it's much easier if you have a handbrush, a bucket of hot water with a bit of Dawn Dishwashing liquid in it, a dry cloth, and a squeegee. You just dunk the brush, slop it onto the glass, start scrubbing, then squeegee. The cloth is to wipe suds off the squeegee. I get perfectly clear windows with a bit of Dawn and the squeegee prevents the rub marks and streaks like you get from paper towels and Windex. It goes fast and it's easy

Dusting ceiling fan blades- use a damp (for us dust allergies sufferers) pillow case and put it over the blade and slide the dust off. Then put pillow case in wash.
