We have s new gas furnace in Livingroom. The heat is warmer in livingroom than basement. If we leavr thermostat on 70' downstair is 62 , if we raise it in living room bedrooms above are really hot. We just want to be able to get a little more heat in basement

Or to not lose what heat you are putting there.

That means insulation done properly which needs to be in place before doing
any HVAC changes even a space heater in the coldest room.

We have a 1200 sq. ft tri-level and the upstairs is very hot in the winter and the downstairs cold. I would like to know if zone heating would help. Our bedroom is directly above the room where the furnace is and get extremely warm. I also would like to get a ballpark on a furnace, air-conditioning and zone heating.

Yes.
Call at least 3 different HVAC contractors in your area and get quotes.
