Absolutely OFF. Luckily our visitors always ask if they should take their shoes off when they see the neat line of shoes by the door.

I'd be very bummed out if I'd gotten dressed up.

Legs look much sexier in bare feet.lol

OMG, I totally agree. I cannot even IMAGINE somebody bringing their own slippers to my house!! I think I would burst out laughing if anyone did that! I am being serious when I ask, what area do you live in where people do this??

I always take my shoes OFF at the door, to come into my own house, but at someone else's home, I generally follow suit. If they remove theirs, I remove mine. If you choose to keep your shoes on in my home, that's OK -- as my guest, I don't want you to be uncomfortable if you'd rather wear them.

At most parties, get togethers, what-have-you, most people keep their shoes on, don't they?

Nine times out of ten, I am out of my shoes within 5 minutes most everywhere I go. I wear slip-on style sandals and shoes year round, and am always barefoot, if I can get away with it. I have hated shoes my entire life for some odd reason.
