off for us and for guests... I always offer to remove my shoes at other's homes as well! I absolutely hate shoes in the house both for comfort and dirt reasons!

One thing I do hate - when people have pets and they require me to take off my shoes. Now my socks are full of their animals hair and dander and other grime and I have to go and put that stuff back into my nice clean shoes.
That is just rude in my opinion.

I knew it would; I've seen it before on other messageboards.
Somehow the combination of cleanliness, courtesy and custom really fans the flames of discussion.
And why am I not surprised:
Someone figured out a way to profit from this

How about the next thread be titled "toilet seat- up or down" ?

That and TP dispensed over or under.
Strong opinions often ensue.

LOL!! This looks like the shoe covers they have at my work. (I work in a hospital). Whjat an ingenous idea to market hospital shoe covers to people concerned about keeping their carpets clean.

Wait a minute? What about more comments about shoes on or off? Are we done, yet? How come nobody mention slippers?
