Yea The decking companies will charge $250 an hour for labor , take eight 10 minute smoke breaks and charge me 4 hrs of labor to replace one board

If price is the concern, do it yourself. It's not rocket surgery.

Hell, at this point, who cares about the deck - you might as well wait for next spring, you're not using it until then.
I can't wait to see the 180 more pages on why it's so hard to get a bid in the winter.
