Need help with a foldin bed (couch, furniture, bedroom, steel)

Hey! My brother is getting an anniversary with his wife, and I'm gonna buy a brand new folding bed for them (that is what they called a perfect gift). But I know nothing about the furniture, I haven't bought bedroom stuffs for ages so I need some help. I'm looking for a bed with a sturdy mattress with a memory foam. Any thoughts?

Maybe they mean a futon. It's a couch during the day and opens to a bed, twin or double depending on the size you choose. They can come with a sturdy mattress(actually cushions). Check out a futon store.

By “bed” are you talking about the wood or steel frame (headboard, rails, etc) or the mattress, or both?

Describe what you mean by a "folding bed." There are several (quite different) things that could qualify as a folding bed.

How do you "get" an anniversary? If you are married they come along automatically. Unless you forget every year. Then you'll have other problems!

I'll take a wild guess he means the Craftmatic "as seen on TV" type folding bed
