Have you priced them lately? Especially the smaller ones. Granted if you want top quality in a 65+ inch size range you're going to have to pay.

Someone that loves watching football or is a true movie buff has a different definition of "decent" than someone that watches the 11:00 News in bed.

Thank you for this insightful post. This serves as a good reminder that I need to get a fireproof safe for important paperwork. Hope the end is in sight for you, and that the only things you have to buy for a while are groceries.

I found more receipts especially for TV's that makes a difference. They gave us 299.00-90.for depreciation, We actually paid 649.99 in 2012. So once I buy a new TV they will refund the difference between 649.99-209. they already paid. Our bed they gave us 4999.00 we paid 10,000.00 Its a tempurpedic with adjustable bed frame. So we were given back the extra 5000.00 because bed was only a few months old. But we were given much more money than originally paid because I found receipts. So keep copies of all receipts. I use mariner paperless I use to use Neat. Its an easy way to keep receipts and you never know when you will need them.
