Default Springtails? Anyone have experience? (bugs)

Has anyone had an experience with Springtails?

Seems these teeeeeeeeeeeny tiny little bugs have taken a liking to my new house. (new construction)

Just wondering if anyone else has had them - and what they did to take care of the problem.

(They are all over the place outside - which is fine - except that they've decided to come INSIDE. That's where I draw the line.)

I just did a websearch and this may be what I have! It says that they are not harmful, just annoying. The ones in my house seem to be pretty much dead by the time I see them since we get our house sprayed for bugs.

I just did a search on these the other day because they were hanging out on my front porch. The research that I did said they liked moisture so I cleared out the leaves and such in front of the porch and they disappeared but now I noticed they have come back some. So far they haven't gotten into the house.

They're teeny tiny little black bugs. They don't fly...they "jump" when threatened. They tend to hang around "damp" places. They've been under my sink...in my toilets...in my dishwasher...in my microwave (?!?!)...and the majority have been by my patio doors. They are harmless...but there are FAR too many to let it be. It's gross!!!

That sounds like what I might have here in Georgia but they seem to be just by my back porch door. They are very tiny have some antennae I think. These almost to be like a brown color though, that's why I thought maybe little itty bitty roaches???? They are climbing up my back door.

I found these things last Thursday and have been CONSUMED with the thought of them. I've googled them to death - and found that they come in many colors. They do have antennae...mine do. No wings though. I think cockroaches would have wings, no?

I had Pest Control out on Saturday and he sprayed my house inside and out. They're definitely dwindling, but they're still activity. I find a party in the toilet every morning. All just floating around in there.......taunting me... LOL

I haven't seen any of these fly but they are on my back door so maybe they are crawling up it. Cockroaches do have wings but I have never seen any this small. I mean they are maybe 4mm or so.

Okay, I think these might be what I have right now. All of a sudden they have taken over my house, crawling up and down the walls and on the ceiling. When I try to catch them they jump. They keep to themselves but are growing in number by the day and I have had enough. Ick!

Have you tried spraying the inside and outside of the house for bugs?

EDIT: Oops, sorry. I posted this before I read that you just had the pest people spray your house Guess I should read the posts before blurting out what I think, lol.
