Default Home moving and basement digging

I have 2 questions.

Does anyone have experience having a basement dug? I"m curious to know how much something like that costs, would be large for a Victorian home.

Also, anyone know of responsible home movers? I don't mean belongings, I mean the actual house. Trying to figure out how much it would cost to move a large house about 30-40 miles.

Thanks.

I think you need to check with a local contractor as far as digging your basement. It will depend on many things, location, soil, size and type of foundation you want built, etc, etc.
Same thing with moving a house, check with a professional. There are far to many variables to find a "One price fits all" kind of deal. Depends on home construction, size, location, obstacles between locations, etc.
Without an on site inspection of your situation, no one would even hazard a wild a$$ guess on a project like that....
