Default Favorite home improvement book?

What's your favorite book on home improvement? Especially one's that are easy to understand and don't confuse the beginning do it yourselfer.

I like the thick hardcovered one by Reader's Digest..........a little bit of everything and lots of colourful pictures.(should be able to borrow an older version at the library). At least it'll give you some indication of whether you have the tools and capabilities to try the project.

I really like the one out by Ortho Books... I've given it for House Warming gifts...

I can check the exact title tonight... I have not bought one in a while.

And thanks for your suggestion as well overtaxed.

I own a couple of the thick Black & Decker books, they have great photos and everything but can sometimes get a little to technical for someone that doesn't have a whole lot of experience with certain projects. I know Home Depot has a book as well but I've yet to read that one, I think they even have the Home Repair for Dummies book or something like that too.
