We feed crickets to our frogs! We get escapees who serenade us to sleep! I love the cricket sounds and the croaking and singing of the frogs!

Cats will usually shred up crickets pretty good, and they will stay up all night waiting for crickets to peep out from behind the wall. But if they are hiding behind carpet or walls the cats will end up shredding the carpet or walls to get to the cricket.

We had a TON of crickets in our basement one year.
I mean A TON. It was crazy almost biblical...well it felt biblical because those things are ugly as the day is long.
We had glue traps everywhere. That got rid of them.
Also drain flushings in the basement.

But for you:
How to get rid of crickets

Crickets are noisy. But harmless. And they're good luck!

Don't endanger your health by spraying chemicals all over the place, that aren't going to hurt the cricket anyway. Turn a light on in the room and go to bed.

Thats some PR job they've managed to do getting called "lucky"!

I finally signed up for a regular exterminator service when I killed 8 black widows in one weekend, over 20 in 3 months! No crickets since then!

Are you out of your damned mind?! Not sleeping for four days with a handicaped wife and two jobs is NOTHING of good luck. I thought the hippy days were over...

Cricket song(that is what it is) is a lullaby to me.

Crickets "ugly" ?

I guess all the little creatures crawling all over you, your bed, furniture, and carpet must really freak you out. Oh wait, they don't sing.
