I don't open them. I just do a molecular restructure and walk thru them.

Wink O Door, why do I love thee?

O Door, why do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.
You keep the rain outside so we stay dry.
And the snow too, when the frost does bite.
The bugs in springtime,
and the crickets at night.
And spiders stay outside,
out of my sight!
But what I like best about you is this-
you keep my kid inside- most of the time, anyways.

Doors are magical. They allow you to walk through walls.

Doors are put in for some of the same reasons floors are.
To help the economy and give people jobs.

For an example of this check out the Winchester House in CA.

Another reason they are put in is to befuddle the people that ask these inane questions.

If I didn't have doors, where would I hang my full-length mirrors? Or my jammies and robe when I take a shower?

If you didn't have doors, how could you ever hear opportunity knocking?

Actually doors are made to be opened.

When one door closes, another one opens.

Not sure what all that meant.

IMO Number one reason is for privacy.
