Question vinyl (?) siding line dryer?

We live in an apartment. We'd like to put up an outside line dryer, the retractable kind for some of our clothes (lol, no not underwear). But I don't know what kind we can use - we've never dealt w/ vinyl before - at least I think it's vinyl. It looks like wood but most definitely isn't. Anyone know? Thank you!!!

I wouldn't attach anything to the outside of the building without written permission.

How about the a portable or folding clothesline?

Or, an old fashion one that slips into a 1.5" pipe in the ground?

thanks yall. we're allowed to attach whatever we want (as long as it's put back when we leave) - some folks have even put up screens to enclose their balconies. I just don't want to drill and put holes in my siding - I'd like something that can attach w/ magnets or something. We don't have anywhere to put one of those poles (I like those though).
