Looking for a door stop / holder - NON magnetic
In our last house we had this great door stop and holder -
Instead of the spring based door stop in the back it was a solid metal stop and on the back of the door a small metal ball attached - it clicked into the stop to hold the door open when you wanted it open - I am looking for one like this again, but have had no luck so far! I have found magnetic stops, but I do not think this would work well with little ones. I need a nice white one to blend in with my door and baseboards...
Anyone know what I am discribing - I feel like maybe I am searching using the wrong words etc.... I know it has to be out there! I wonder if we got it at the Expo (which is no longer in business)?

Ours was very stylish and smaller, yet sturdy - it was all white to blend in with our door and trim - it was just very simple and effective so it blended in well and didn't call attention to itself eeek i had no idea it would be so hard to find another or I would have packed it up with us
I might just have to go with a magnetic and hope it holds up to my 4 year old and 1 1/2 year old - I'm afraid it will not hold up to them though!
I found this one and of course it is out of stock -
KidSafe Baby Proofing and Child Safety Products, Door Holder for Child Safety
I might just have to go with this one...
Magnetic Door Stop
Beth you are awesome for looking for me!! Reps to you!

Thanks. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out what you were looking for. Now I can see from your last post what it looks like. Perhaps you can find it in stock elsewhere.

Van Dykes Restorers
They've got 23 webpages of door stops. Maybe there's something that will work for you there. Kind of handy for me. They've got an outlet store and warehouse right down the street and another one about 35 miles away.
