hi everyone -

i'm getting an add'l bedroom put in my house and need recommendations for hardwood floors.

i want prefinished (bruce, etc), not plank that needs to be stained/sealed. i have bruce right now, and am generally happy, considering how old the floors are (7 yrs) - minimal scratches, and still pretty shiny (when clean!). but i thought there might be better out there, or at least something different to look at.

what brands besides bruce are decent? i'm sure within each brand are different "levels" - what to look for? as i mentioned this is for a bedroom (guest) so definitely not a high traffic area....

oh, i'm not interested in pergo or any laminate type flooring...

thanks!

I've had 2 mannigton prefinished hardwood floors ... loved them both and never had any problems.

Mannington & Bruce are the big boys in the flooring market.
