Hi everyone...

Has anyone ever used the Shark steam mop? I always see commercials for it and was curious what people's experience is with it? Is it worth the expense or is the good old mop better??

You might want to check the reviews on amazon.com

For S3101

For S3501

I just ordered a Eureka ENVIRO Steamer from amazon.com. I hope it lives up to its reviews.

We bought the Eureka Enviro-Steamer. It had better ratings from users than did the Shark. Purchased it through E-Bay for $68. delivered. Have had it for about 2 months and am happy with the performance and ease of use. We also considered the Shark, but did research on the internet to get reports from users of what type of steam mop they liked best. Good Luck with your search.

I have it and it's ok. It works good on tile but it's a little streaky on my wood floor. I wish the cord was a little longer. All and all I like it.

I had it and the lever broke in a month. It is a common complaint. I went with the bissel after that and love it.

I like ours. We don't have the fancy one that you can use on both sides.
Feel satisfied with the steam function for health reasons especially when walking barefoot into the bathrooms. Like how I can use it on rugs and carpet but it's odd that it the piece is not really an attachment, per se.
If it hooks on somehow, we sure as heck would like to know. Maybe that new one does?

There's an even newer model out but I can't remember what it's called right now. There's a safety notice posted at Bed, Bath and Beyond about that one. Gee, I was almost going to order it on tv. Glad I didn't. Not until I'm positive that the issue has been looked at and future models won't cause any more problems.

My wife thought it was the best thing since sliced bread but does a horrible job of cleaning anything. I would rather use spray cleaner or a robot vacuum.

Default Shark Steam Pocket Mop Better?

I have heard mixed reviews on the Shark Steam Mop. I hear that the new Shark Steam Pocket Mop version fixed a lot of the issues of the old one. I never buy as seen on tv products but am tempted to this time!

This is not a "Phoenix" thread, so it needs to be moved. You might find information already on whatever the appropriate general forum on C-D would be.
