My bedroom has horrible windows. I am paying for not insisting the seller fix them when I bought this over 2 years ago, but as I bought it in the summer, I didn't know there would be such a draft at night during winter.

Now here is the problem.

The window on the wall very close to the foot of my bed has an AC. But rather than one of those ACs you can remove, the AC was sealed to a metal frame which was then attached to the window. I cannot move this frame nor the AC. It's the rules of my coop.

I did buy two cloth covers from Home Depot to place over the front of the ACs so outside cold air doesn't freely seep in. Still, there IS a draft, and my bedroom is very cold at night.

How do I fix this? What products or sealing items can I get at Home Depot on my windows so that, if the draft can't be 100% eliminated, at least it'll be drastically reduced?

EDIT: there is another window several feet away on an adjacent wall with a draft as well, but it doesn't really bother me. Please note that this apartment's bedroom and LR windows do not have an outside glass pane which many houses' windows have, which help reduce winter drafts.

Can you maybe seal off the window from the outside with that plastic sheeting?
