Just wondering how much other people pay for a cleaning service.

We had a cleaning service today, $45 for 3 bathroom, kitchen, lr and dr. They didn't do the bedrooms because 2 are used as storage, the other 3 I keep up.

I was more than pleased with their work, they stayed almost 3 hours, I can't believe my house was that dirty! For that price I'm having them come every week. But now my kids whine why should they have to clean up for the cleaning service?

I usually pay $10 bucks an hour for 5 hours... If I was to use an agency its like $8 an hr but they have to give like $2 per hr back to the the agency which is not fair. So I use 1 lady & give her $10 per hr. plus pay her cab to & from my house.

$70 for a full house cleaning (3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 living areas, kitchen, dining room, etc etc etc). The quality is amazing with the cleaning lady we have now and well worth the $, since we have paid more in the past and had a lot less done.

100 bucks a pop, which averages out to 20 bucks an hour. Not bad for unskilled labor.

Yes, but they work hard, and have their overhead, too. I'm quite pleased with my service, why didn't I do it before? Too cheap, I guess. Ok, $45 for 3 hours, works out to $15/hour, that's pretty good. They also do our lawn for $35 for the whole lawn, front & back. They're not giving their services away, but a competetive price. For an extra $10 they will clean the overn and fridge, i just spray ez off the night before.

Yeah, my cleaning lady has none of that overhead. Maybe the gas to get to the house.
