I just took down all of my outside Christmas lights and decorations today. I was just wondering if anyone has taken theirs down late like I did. So when did you finally take all of your Christmas decorations down?

My tree is undecorated and out of the house; unfortunately, it's still in its stand, and on the front porch. *sigh*

The house is in a "transitional" stage right now.

Well, I THOUGHT I took down all of my Christmas decorations last weekend. Took it all down, packed it all up, put it all away in storage. Was putting things all back in order, and FOUND a few more Christmas things that I missed!! I hate that. Am I the only one? My 2 yr old grandson found a snowman I didn't even see!!

We kept putting it off, and putting it off, and putting it off....until it was 3 days before Christmas. So....all of our 'decorations' are in cardboard boxes in the living room and we never ended up getting a tree

I put everything away the day after New Years. This is the most depressing time of the year to me and to be reminded that Christmas is over by leaving decorations around makes it even more so; better to get the stuff put away.

I finally got most of my inside festoonery boxed last weekend. Im waitin for stragglers to show themselves before I put the boxes away. Ive made a start but a lot of the outside stuff is still up.

I hate Dechristmasing. The house looks so forlorn and nekid. And theres no other holiday to decorate for right now. Too early for V day or spring stuff. sigh
