I'd like to replace our vinyl mini-blinds with possibly wood blinds or honeycomb shades. Does anyone have any experience or advice about which ones will hold up to pets (in this case, cats) the best? Our cats have broken the edges of our vinyl mini-blinds while pushing their way behind the blinds and I'd like to get something that would hold up better.
I'd like something that provides some privacy and offers some light control.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
** I also posted this in the Pets forum - I hope that's okay **
Try the Bali Northern Lights or tinted whites that are double cell OR the Graber Crystalpleat. Both are made by the same company (Springs). You can crumple this fabric up pull it back up together and it takes it form back. You can also use a little woolite and clean them up.
If you do the 2" blinds, do a faux wood. Wood will warp if the conditions are not good.
