Question RBID homes?

Greetings...

I have been looking at some home listings on the MLS for various areas in the Atlanta area and saw some that said "RBID home". Wondered if anyone could tell me what this is and if it's good or bad?

Thanks, Carl

RBID properties basically are foreclosures, bank owned homes, distress sales, things like that. They are usually sold below market value.

Thanks DoveDiva. After I posted, I decided to google that and got the same answer that you gave (DUH!) Sorry to waste time on something I should have looked up myself. However, maybe someone will have had some experience with this type of home and I'll obtain some fist-hand knowledge from some that know. Thanks again...

Default RBID houses

This is not necessarily true. My house is listed as an RBID house. Not in foreclosure, just hoping to move it fast. I guess you would say that I am a motivated seller, have flexibility in what I can take, open to offers, etc.
So might be able to say that RBID houses may be classified as motivated sellers willing to deal.
