Do you honestly believe that the Piney Woods (where the park will be located) would remain the same forever? Do you still want the areas of Porter to be methlab central? This park would change a lot, but trust, if it's not built Walmart, KB Home, something even MORE tacky, would build where the park is. Because really, the park is not that far north. If you draw a straight line, it is where I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road meet (so, it isn't even further north than The Woodlands).

I think the people who don't want the park to get built are a little CONSERVATIVE.
