I (white) have taken my bi-racial son and my 2 black nieces to the Woodlands Mall, Katy Mills Mall, and the Galleria without stares and comments..

What's your point ?

Are you sure that wasn't the The Woodlands Wal-Mart you went to and maybe thought it was the Woodlands Mall?

-Your favorite city in Florida is Cape Coral? aka The Baycliff of Texas -
this place must feel like West Boca or Winter Park to you then

Can someone please tell me why Californians hate Texas, Houston?

Are you insane ? You make no sense...

Because my favorite TV shows are sitcoms and I'm broke means that I can't shop in the the Woodlands ? FYI, For the last 6 months I've done nothing but drive between Houston, Nashville, New Orleans, and Orlando for various reasons, some personal and some financial, What's my income status have to do with you and your stereotypes anyway ?

As far as my favorite city in Florida, I don't know where you got Cape Coral from, I lived there many, many years ago but I'm from Tampa and that's by far my favorite city in Florida. As far as Baycliff.. I've never heard of that place, I've heard of Bacliff, TX but have never been there..

Do you care to elaborate further on what the hell it is that you're talking about ?

When you hear native Texans bragging how great it is....then come/move here and wonder what the hell they are bragging about...(im from AZ)
sorry folks but in Houston there is nothing here to brag about
maybe how humid it is??
IMHO just not much here except for places to eat but most are just chains that I see in Phoenix also ....I use to hear how great the Galleria was but it looks pretty run down to me.....along with Willowbrook and that one at the end of Westheimer is down right dangerous to walk into.
Maybe that just dont see what all the fuss is about...I sure dont.

With due respect, your skull must be as think as a brick wall.

People have spent pages trying to tell you, but it seems lost on you.

Californians dont hate Texas any more than Texans hate California. The people who do hate either state dont really understand them. Both places are different, but most of the Californians (like me) who live in Texas like it here. I got teased before I left, but the same people who did and have come to visit have enjoyed thier stays.
