For those interested in the new Katy Main Street/HEB development, I've heard that a Whataburger and Chick Filet are going up there as well. Not fine dining of course, but even closer options for those who live out by Pin Oak.

I was SO hoping you were going to say Lowes or Home Depot. Maybe someone from their corporate office will read this

If you are talking about the southeast corner at I-10 and Katy Ft Bend, I wouldn't count on that old Lowe's news. The original developer is now selling that property. Supposedly a Lowe's is going in at 1093 and Spring Green.

Don't know how recent this map is but it looks like theres a plan for a huge retail center around Spring Green and 1093 with Lowes.

I have been keeping an eye out on the progress of the retail going in at 1093 and Spring Green since that map first came out (2007). The only thing that I know for sure is that Thor Equities has been in several closed door meetings this year with the Ft Bend commissioner's court and according to loopnet.com, the property is fully leased. Don't know what the hold up is on breaking ground on this development.
