I was checking different places for donations, and here is one that takes stuff for creative reuse. Cool place. Part craft store, thrift store, salvage yard and antique place they collect materials suitable for reuse, repurposing or upcycling.
There is a long list of items accepted for donations and short list of items they do not accept:

Clothing, except as noted above
Computer monitors or keyboards
Newspaper
Packing peanuts
Paperback books
Pets or children
Phone books
White paper

I guess they think that pets or kids... can hardly inspire creative reuse...
