Default The Houston Rockets: NBA Team

I know this would most probably belong in the basketball forum, but why specifically? This team plays in the city of Houston, so if I'm not mistaken it can also be in the Houston forum too, right?

Anyways, this team has had a roller coaster of life span, many ups and downs.

Where do you think the Rockets stand today? Better than the last few years or worse with Tracy McGrady gone (for the last year or so) and all these other teams stepping up on their talent roster.

Looks like we have one less team to worry about now, the Cleveland Cavaliers are pretty much done.

What are your thoughts on Houston Rockets?

Again, Yao needs to be healthy and we are there in the playoffs. Thank god that the trade for Bosh didn't go through. GO CLUTCH CITY!

I actually think Bosh would have been a good acquisition for the Rockets.

Lol, they need to get better. They aren't very good. But still better than both New York teams. LOL- talk about big city with worthless teams. Only New York.

They've been killed with their cap space these last few years, but I think things are turning around. Their new GM is one of the best of the league -- does a great job of finding solid players and giving them reasonable contracts. Once we get some cap space I think we'll be good to go.

And to the previous poster -- Yao will never be healthy. He was never healthy when he was younger, and bone/foot problems don't get better as you get older and put more wear on them... especially when you're over 7 feet tall.

GS should not have given up on Baron Davis but I think Warriors are a playoff team next year.

If Yao has completely recovered from his foot injury, they will win the division for sure!

The Rockets are probably the only team who can be 20 points ahead in the 3rd quarter and still find a way to lose.

Nope, I believe the Celtics are the king when it comes to that.

They HAD the finals won all the way till the last 7 minutes of that game... I cannot believe how they gave up.

But oh well, I was Pro-Lakers anyway!

I just wish the Lakers played better.
