All of the skylines.

Dallas once had the tallest buildings in the state and the biggest skyline, I don't know what happened.
Nahhh not really trying to make you jealous, that wasn't what my intentions were, I was just kidding around.

I thought Dallas had two skylines and not one?

Dallas has 2 skylines Uptown and Downtown, the rest of the city has buildings scarttered around.

Then why do Dallasities give Houstonians a hard time for having random buildings popping from all over the place?

In some of these pictures the downtown area looks pretty darn dense. Is it really that dense or is it just these damn angles.

The buildings are very small, the tallest building outside of Downtown Dallas is the Tower at Cityplace 550 ft.

Wedge didn't receive that lighting treatment until about the early-mid 90's. Rarely will you ever see it lit up anymore. I haven't even seen just the roof lines lit up in 3-4 years like they used to do when they stopped lighting the whole thing 10 years ago.

Some say its because of the people in the nearby residential towers who complained they couldn't sleep with it at night. I say it was more of a way to save on the electric bill & constant maintenance.
Yeah, I don't buy into that story about its lights being irritating. I also think it was to cut back on costs. Houston is good at saving money, hopefully though they can invest in more aesthetically looks for the city. The period of rapid growth means they have to starts buildings things like crazy, this city is literally transforming.

I also think that the skyline in Texas Medical Center will become more aesthetically beautiful than downtown at night.

Epicentre no, no chance.

But I do believe they will build a office park with plenty of high rises and attractions such as restaurants and shopping boutiques there.
They have already leaked minor plans on that much so to say.
