They're also put together by people in an office somewhere else who probably haven't even been to all these places they put into these lists, and certainly did not obtain any actual information from them.
What's sad is when you see somebody come around a forum like this who can't seem to form a point outside of posting links to these sorts of rankings and filling in the remaining blanks with sweeping generalizations and stereotypes. Not that I'm singling anyone out or anything.
