actually Rice is one of the most reasonably priced top quality private universities in the country

part of why they stay smaller is that to maintain the price they need to add large endowment dollars for every student added

Rice does actually have a plan to grow larger, but the plan actually revolves around the fact that Rice studied a number of very similar universities and found that they had smaller class sizes than many of the others did and even some of the others with very small class sizes were also considering increasing their student to faculty ratio (and class size) slightly because they felt it was better economically and it would not change the quality.....but it is going to be done slowly especially at Rice because Rice also likes their dorm grouping concept so they need some endowment money and dorm space to really grow larger

Excellent university on a really beautiful campus

In between some of the friendliest neighborhoods in Houston (The Village, West U, Binz) no wonder the quality of life is ranked so high.

I need to resume running along the path circling the Uni.
