college students are supposed to be poor you are just complaining because your skinny arz walks from 3rd ward to dtwn

if you were making your 200K a year, driving your fat car and the government was trying to stick its hands in your pocket to fund public transit you wouldn't be feeding me that public transit bull you just did.

personally I think the city would be great with it, but don't act like people here are crying for it.

I remember the protests when businesses were shutting down downtown when they were building the rail, I remember the outrage when the richmond expansion was proposed.

rail is highly utilized here, but saying there is a public outcry for it is BS.

millions of people here just don't care

They just need to develop the rail more sensibly. They need more bus routes in the outer areas/suburbs too. That said, HtownLove, I thought that you were talking about some newdevelopment out by the beltway and 90. Sorry.

I like our Downtown. it matches our size. I can't believe we have 5 other skylines.

can you imagine what it would be if we got those millionaaires to get the hell out and connect dtwn with uptown, Greenway and TMC??

but unfortunately some of the priciest real estate in Texas are right smack in the middle of those skylines
