Hi, is any body knows how to get a no criminal certificate in Sugar Land? It must applied in person or can be done by the third party. What documents are required? Thanks.

You mean criminal record certificate?? ( if a person does not have criminal record - the certificate will state: no record)
Criminal record check is a paid service.

wow, I don't need to check anybody's record. I need to obtain a no criminal record to indicate that I have no criminal record. It is for immigration work permit requirement.

If you order one yourself, it is invalid. The company you apply to has to order it.

I know you want your own. I would think that Immigration does their own check. Maybe they want your driving record?

No, no no... My friend is in Jamacia & applying a work permit for running a business there. The immigration office of Jamaica require a no criminal certificate. Someone told me that must go to a local policy office. I am wondering if it can be done by third party.

No, you cannot do it for someone. She has to apply or her Immigration Office. They should tell her what she has to do and how.
Did she ever lived here in the US?

No, it cannot be done by a third party. Even if you have a Power of Attorney for your friend, you cannot get a Not a Criminal Certificate.

First off, there is no such thing. Even if there was, it cannot be issued by one municipality (even the Federal Government), because you can't get a multi-jurisdictional statement covering all jurisdictions certifying that your friend is not a criminal.

Have your friend come back to the US, run a criminal background check on himself for all 50 states and Washington DC, assemble that into one folder and send it to the Jamaican governing office of immigration.

Good luck with that. Sounds impossible to me.

Ronnie

If it were me, I'd PhotoShop the hell out of a DIY Certificate, mash an embossed, cool-looking, golden, raised seal into it, and send that in.
