Some would argue its in eight different parts now...high school zones. I dont see the difference. But I understand your point, but todays suburban districts are tomorrows urban areas.

It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Barker-Cypress to Beltway 8 and 30 minutes from Beltway 8 to 610 during rush hour traffic. 290 from Beltway 8 and out is what is getting worst time progresses. FYI, property taxes and Insurance for a $250k house will run you about $8k per year with homestead exemption. The Jersey Village area will strongly help you communte and keep you in a good school district with a good education. Jersey Village is a small little city with Houston next to it, advantage is that the Jersey Village police department are bored and actively watch non-residents of Jersey Village when the enter Jersey Village.

Default Reply to cy-fair vs Spring....

We live near Beltway 8 and 249. We love it and our neighborhood is relatively new and has homes from the 140's-300's. It is right off the Beltway. We live in the Silver Oak Trails Neighborhood. It is in Cy-Fair ISD. We love it here, there are trees, the homes are reasonably priced, it's pretty safe and there are tons of restaurants and shopping nearby.
