Police: Murder Suspect Leads Officers On Chase - Video - KPRC Houston (http://www.click2houston.com/video/25014276/index.html - broken link)

Did anyone witness this chase as it was going down? Exciting times in Houston.

(What were we all saying about Houston drivers on another thread? )

I am wondering why about two dozen police cars and tow trucks were needed. Seems like a bit of an over-kill. Looks like a good time for someone else to rob a bank.

Um, 5 banks actually. 3 yesterday, and 2 today.

(I think they had many cars b/c they wanted to corner him asap, apparently he was driving very wrecklessly, at speeds of 100mph, in wrong direction at times, carjacked and he was armed and dangerous. Besides, what officer would want to miss all this excitement? I bet the first officer on the scene radioed all his unit "This is Sherif Roscoe P. Co...")

I caught the last 10-15 minutes of the chase. Pretty exciting and shocking at the same time. I'm very surprised that the little white car he was driving could do over 100mph and handle so well at those speeds, except for the end of course. Wish he didn't hit the people in the red truck.

I am wondering how it can be possible at such a high speed.
