I am thinking about putting a tinted film on my backyard windows. They face West-South-East and get a lot of sun during the summer.

Does local New Territory HOA (NTRCA) (or Telfair?) have any objections on backyard tinting? It is totally not seen from the street!

If they control the backyard, what tinting manufacturers/series/models do they allow? The one I want is a minimum glare/reflectance, neutral/light in color and high in solar rejection.

Something like this:
SunTek UltravisionDS 30, 40
SunTek Architectural Window Film- Superior Solar Performance- Exceptional Optical Clarity

Bekaert Panorama Slate 30, 40
Panorama Reflective Window Film

Bekaert Sterling 60, 70
Panorama Designer Sterling Window Film

Yes, the NTRCA (New Territory) does allow window tinting. You have to submit a sample and form in advance of you putting on the tinting on your windows. Once they review and approve it, you can put up the tinting. Hang on to the approval letter should it ever come in question in the future.

I was told by my builder that window tinting wasn't allowed in Telfair. However, he did mention solar screens are allowed.

Window film will last longer than solar screens. Look for high performance, non reflective films
