1093 gets busy in the mornings and also in the evening from Cinco Terrace to 99. Any idea if they are going to expand this one to 4 lanes?

yes. the link below also addresses other issues such as the reason that the Shoppes at Cinco Ranch hasn't moved forward is that the developer doesn't want to give up some of that property for the widening of 1093.

Does anyone have any current pictures of the Katy area? Every picture I see it seems like Katy is rural, but with news about land clearing and road widening make me think other wise?

I have mentioned before that Cinco SW was going to house a couple of apt complexes. Out of curiosity I checked the fbcad site to see if either of those pieces of land have been sold to any developers yet, and sure enough, the property at the NW corner of Cinco Terrace and 1093 was sold by Newland (Terrabrook Cinco Ranch SW) to Judwin Realty Group. They developed Park Oak Trail apts on Mason. The second piece of Cinco that is slated for apt development is the NE corner of Fry and 1493.
