Look at the history. How often will CA make over a 100?

It seems this weather will continue for atleast 2 weeks. Even a cooler front is coming in! - We just need mountains now like CA.

I bet if Houston has year around weather like CA, this place would be the most crowded in the USA.

its odd but true, after living here my whole life, the past 3 winters are the coldest I ever remember, and last summer not this summer was definately the hottest summer I ever remember. I think our weather could be getting more like Dallas's which traditionaly got both hotter and colder than houston. Just a thought.
