I haven't lived in Spring in some time although all my friends/family are here. I'm considering getting a town home near Klein HS and wondered is that area decent. Quiet with low/no crime?

One of the best areas up there is Champion Forest. Lived there for 10 years. Low crime, good schools (Klein ISD), great neighborhoods. Since you have family there, poll them as well.

Well I know Champions is nice but it's a bit out of my price range. I'm looking at the Oakwood Glen area. It's temporary housing. I just don't want my truck broken into or have to shoot somebody. Sides, if I lived in Champions I'd have to pay those high Raveneaux fees. And we just can't have that.

Stay off of Wunderlich and you should be fine. They are building new town homes east of Huntwick. Call the Constables office. They do most of the patrolling around here. We have had no problems since I can't remember when. Lot's of rumor, no serious crime, unless it is within a family. A guy got robbed in the parking lot in those apartments by KHS.
Larry Lipton is starting a new civic group. The are getting the COH, constables and sheriff's office together regularly. The next meeting is Oct. 7 at Bammel church. You will find out all you need to know if you go.

Ha I was actually considering the condos off Wunderlich awhile back glad I didn't make a move then. The town homes I'm looking at are fairly cheap so I just want to make sure the area is fairly nice. You can still find deals where people tend to work for a living instead of living off the work of others. As for getting robbed, I'm getting my CHP soon.

Oakwood Glen is a nice lower end area of Klein, my mom used to live there. It's affordable. I think it would be fine for now.

Spring Creek Oaks/Forest or maybe Memorial Northwest?

What is the actual price range?

Memorial Chase and Colony Creek are options for smaller homes, less rent then Memorial NW..
