I have heard some stuff about this doctor. He seems to be quite popular also. Anyone heard of him and/or have any experience?

I am trying to get a doctor that does surgery for Trigiminal Neuralgia.

He apparently operates out of Pasadena and utilizes Bayshore Hospital. I would not have any major (or minor) surgery at Bayshore Hospital regardless of the dr's rep; aftercare is important to your recovery and success rate as well. I would recommend you look at doctors that utilize the major hospital's in Houston's central med center such as Methodist, St. Lukes, Memorial Hermann.

He does. I am in Katy so it won't be too long of a drive. I thought Dr. Pakzaban was very well known and experienced?
Why does it matter where the surgery is?

Bayshore is just not a good hospital. It matters where you have surgery because that is where you will be recovering. Rates of infection, quality of caregivers, etc. Kind of like this ... you have the "A" student and the "c" student .... which one would you want working on you .... Personally, I would go with the "A." Bayshore is a "c." That's just my opinion - if you have confidence in your doctor then you should do what you believe to be best, personally I would only have a major surgery in the heart of our med center.

Here are some Bayshore reviews I pulled off the Web. After the surgery - your dr. is done - now it is time for the recovery care:
Bayshore Medical Ctr - Pasadena, TX

However; it appears your doctor is very highly rated.

Your second link does not work.

Would you go with a low rated rated and a better facility?

What about a doctor's private facility? Not hospitals.
