Maybe a joke but by the looks of the detail in ad, if it's a joke, it's a pretty good one b/c I would never think of putting in some of those information that's there. Lots of people are putting their houses on sale through craigslist in addition to Har.com, so perhaps it's 4 real? Anyway, interesting...

I know this is an old thread, but I drove by this morning and saw a couple of 'For lease' signs hanging on the Hush building.
Looks like the owners weren't able to find a buyer(s).

Real Estate might be of more value than a club out there.

Bars are hard to sell, because they dont sell for a big multiple. The owners usually drive a large percentage of the business, so that equity leaves with him. Of course, they claim 90% is automatic, but very few bars can change hands and survive as-is without a strong "culture", like a Sherlocks, for example.

Default Meh...

That club never should have been built at it's location to begin with. Not to mention the location was not the best to get in and out of. The owners had a dream and saw it live for some time, but they would probably have been better off in Montrose, Galleria, Uptown or Downtown... not West Houston. RIP

I always thought it was a good location for kids in the suburbs who didn't want to drive into town.
They seemed to attract a lot of national artists (mostly hip-hop acts) that would perform there.
Of course, that may have also been the kiss of death for them.
It seems like it started off as a pop/dance club and by the end had turned into more of a hip-hop place.
