What are some good colleges in Houston that hae good automotive engineering programs. I really want to head back to college and also take business as well.

Help would be appreciated.

Like a bachelors in engineering? I guess the answer is simple because any accredited engineering degrees in Houston is offered by UH & UHCL as far as I am aware.

There aren't true "Automotive" engineering programs down here but UH as well as Rice have Mechanical Engineering programs. You can participate in the Mini Baha series designing ATV type vehicles. That shoud get you well on your way.

Hmm I was thinking of attending that school. Im still half and half on which should be a major though. Half say mechanical because it will make me more versatile the other half say automotive because my plan to be a shop owner really won't need the background of Mechanical.

In that case you want to be an Automotive Technician. There are very few Automotive Engineering programs at Universities in the US so it sounds like you want to attend a Technical school or Community College.
