They need to build the Hardy past the Lake for non-commuting travellers. Been a wish of mine for years now.

I actually read that they are about to do this. And when the Grand Parkway is built, it'll also help mobility.

I moved to Houston in 83 and people thought the same way back then...Houston's a great city with jobs...let'em keep coming..better for our economy

Growth = prosperity. Be thankful it's not shrinking. All those "people" who are so "offensive" are bringing their tax dollars with them.

I agree that growth is good, but I am concered about all the liberals moving here from California. They bankrupted that state, then many of them moved to Nevada...once a solidly red state and turned it blue..(along with horrendous unemployment and real estate numbers)...many are now moving here. So that worries me a bit.

That IS a concern but I think the ones that are fleeing California are the ones who are fed up with the "land of fruits and nuts". The liberal ones still tjhink California is a pradise. They'll still be singing and dancing as the water rises past their ankles.
