My bad; I read your post wrong; umm...no the downtown tunnels don't have clubs. However, downtown does. The tunnels are filled with stores and resturantes. The tunnels usually shut down by like 6 or 7pm.

I would say that very few people walk in the city of Houston. It's not very walkable in terms of having all of the necessary ammentities within a small radius.

It used to...
each part of Houston was like it's own little town and downtown was always loaded with people walking and shopping until around 9PM..

Then came the malls...
