Default Does anyone remember Bayou Mama's?

I was in the area a couple of weeks ago, and saw that they bulldozed it all down, even the club that was caddy-corner to it, I can't recall the name of it right now... but I can never forget Bayou Mama's! 'Lots of interesting happenings, and stories from those times!

Anyway, almost everything that was at the Northeast corner of Gessner and Westheimer was razed. Here's to Progress.

The only Bayou Mama's I know about is at 290 and Hollister.

Wasn't that The Ocean Club (looong ago) sort of behind Randall's? And what happened to Randall's over there? Everything's a pancake on that corner.

Wasn't the Ocean Club on St James, or someplace right there by the Galleria.... down from Schlumberge's office. It is a restaurant now.

That club behind Randalls at Westheimer and Gessner was Xanadu when it opened originally for the first time. To enter, you walked through a round tunnel illuminated with neon rings.

I remember seeing Roger Clemens and his buddies there back in the day. A few friends of mine were surprised he was there considering the fact that he was married. It wasn't like a promotional event either. Anyone also remember Randi's? I remember going there once and didn't realize it was an older crowd.
