Default Santa's Wonderland vs. Polar Express

I'd like to take the kidlets to either Santa's Wonderland in College Station or the Polar Express in Rusk. Could probably only manage to get to one or the other this year. Has anyone been to both to suggest which is more magical (IOW, worth the time & $$)?

Also, it looks like there are different options at Santa's Wonderland: vehicle tour, horse & carriage tour, hayride, Santa's Town. The which do you recommend doing?

Santa's Wonderland hands down. I've been to both. The Polar Express is great for very small children, rather dull for older ones (9 year old plus). Santa's Wonderland Fantastic for all ages...just bring blankets if it's cold! Yikes. We did the hayride. More fun than the car drive through.

College Station would be a cheaper trip as well, because you can drive home to sleep afterwards.
