Unfortunately I don't know anyone...but I found my current nanny using Care.com. It's a site that you pay monthly (you have to unsubscribe if you no longer need them). The site is pretty neat, you can post a job offer where the people interested send you a message (via website). Or, you can do a search of available nannies in your area. You can read their profiles, check their basic background check and listen to recorded recommendations from previous employers.

gasgasgas - if you find out anything, could you share your experience?
I have my kids in daycare right now but I'm thinking about a live in nanny.
I've used care.com before and i received a lot of responses for my post.

Couple other resources: Sittercity. com - I haven't used it but I have heard that it's very good.
I recently had an emergency care need and called up a company called momsbestfriend.com.
They're very responding and seems to be very nice. I actually didn't need to use them at the end so I don't know.

We brought our live in Thai nanny from our Hong Kong overseas assignment. There is some kind of immigration program where you can bring someone for 2 years at the time. Price wise was a really good deal. My wife did all the logistics so I can ask if you wanna go this route...
