Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone went to this tour and it is worth it.
I have an infant and a 3-year old so I'm wondering if it would be fun and worth the time.

Also, what about the Woodland Winter Wonderland. We live about 1hr away so I wanted to know if it's worth the drive.

MNCold.

I've never heard of it but it looks like fun. Hopefully, someone who has been will respond. I'd love to take my almost 3 yr olds & parents next week.

MNCold - I just heard back from some of the moms in my local moms group and the consensus was that it was a fun place. The train is reminiscent of the one at the zoo - apparently, the kids all love it even if it may not be all the exciting for the adults (one person didn't find it all that thrilling but her kids did).

Inside the main building, there are activities for the kids (crafts, letter writing to Santa, etc...) plus popcorn, kettle corn, cotten candy, coffee, hot chocolate, funnel cake and a seating area. They only take cash or check. From what I understand, the prices range from $.50-3.00 for food/drinks.

There is a North Pole set up with a Santa. Photographer photos are $7.50 but apparently they let you take your own pics for free, too.

We're definitely going to plan to go next week.

Hope some of the info helps you decide. Thanks for posting this as you've given us an activity for next week!

I didn't even know about this place. I just looked it up. Very close to downtown.
