Usually our grass is MUCH greener, though. That I really miss this year. Fall leaves are a nice change, don't usually see it like this. I guess you can't have one without the other (brown grass/autumn leaves). I don't remember it being like this ever before. Our grass looks like we are in Dallas.

Lol...thats hilarious! I have a friend from Novosibirsk who came here to study. She LOVED the weather here thought it was just warm all year around.

My husband turned the heater down and lit the fireplace this morning "so it would feel like December". lol.

Fireplace add to the atmosphere.
I don't have fireplace, but could imagine a cozy Christmas evening with all lights down, except the Christmas tree and the fireplace.
